A catalyst don’t appear in the overall stoichiometry of the reaction it catalyzes, but it must appear in at least one of the elementary reactions in the mechanism for the catalyzed reaction. 13991-08-7, Name is 1,2-Bis(diphenylphosphino)benzene, molecular formula is C30H24P2. A series of homoleptic copper(I), silver(I), and gold(I) complexes of two bisphosphine ligands {1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)benzene, dppb; bis[2-(diphenylphosphino)phenyl]ether, POP} have been prepared. Whilst all three [M(dppb)2]BF4 complexes are tetracoordinate, this geometry is found only for the silver(I) complex with POP. Instead, [Cu(POP)2]+ and [Au(POP)2]+ adopt a trigonal coordination geometry with an uncoordinated phosphorus atom. A close inspection of the P-M bond lengths reveals an interesting trend. From the copper to silver and gold complexes, a substantial elongation is found. On the other hand, from the silver to gold compounds, a decrease in the M-P bond length is found. Indeed, gold(I) has a smaller van der Waals radius than silver(I) as a result of its peculiar relativistic effects. Electrochemical investigations revealed two oxidation processes for all of the [M(dppb)2]BF 4 and [M(POP)2]BF4 complexes. The first oxidation is likely metal-centered, whereas the second one corresponds to ligand-centered processes in all cases. The emission properties of these compounds in solution, in frozen rigid matrices at 77 K, and in the solid state at room temperature have been systematically investigated. Although all of them are weak emitters in solution, remarkably high emission quantum yields were found in the solid state, in particular for [Cu(dppb)2]BF4 and [Ag(dppb)2]BF4. Finally, these two compounds were used for the fabrication of light-emitting devices. Interestingly, both the copper(I) and the silver(I) complex afford quite broad electroluminescence spectra with white light emission. Copper(I), silver(I), and gold(I) [M(PP) 2]BF4 complexes have been prepared from two bisphosphine ligands, namely, 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)benzene (dppb) and bis[2-(diphenylphosphino)phenyl]ether (POP). Their electronic properties have been systematically investigated and rationalized as a combination of steric and electronic effects as well as by differences in their coordination geometries.

A catalyst don’t appear in the overall stoichiometry of the reaction it catalyzes, but it must appear in at least one of the elementary reactions in the mechanism for the catalyzed reaction. 564483-19-8, Name is Di-tert-butyl(2′,4′,6′-triisopropyl-[1,1′-biphenyl]-2-yl)phosphine, molecular formula is C29H45P. In a Article£¬once mentioned of 564483-19-8, HPLC of Formula: C29H45P

Palladium-catalyzed amination of aryl(haloaryl)amines with 9H-carbazole derivatives was investigated. In the amination of (4-bromophenyl)phenylamine with 9H-carbazole by the use of Pd2(dba)3/PtBu3/NaOtBu catalyst, the main product was desired 9-[4-(phenylamino)phenyl]-9H-carbazole in 60% yield with conversion of (4-bromophenyl)phenylamine >99%, and the concomitant formation of 9-[4-[phenyl[4-(phenylamino)phenyl]amino]phenyl]-9H-carbazole (15% yield), which is the consecutive by-product, was observed. When XPhos was used instead of PtBu3, the desired product was provided in 81% yield and the consecutive by-product was suppressed to 7.7%. The yield of the desired product reached 98% by the use of tBu-XPhos. Such excellent yields of the desired product were also obtained with other 2-di-tert-butyl- or 2-di(1-adamantyl)phosphino-1,1?-biaryls. Various 9-(arylamino)aryl-9H-carbazoles could be synthesized from aryl(haloaryl)amines and 9H-carbazole derivatives in high yields by the use of tBu-XPhos. The amination of 4-bromotoluene with a mixture of diphenylamine and 9H-carbazole gave only 9-o-tolyl-9H-carbazole with tBu-XPhos, while the use of PtBu3 or XPhos afforded the mixture of 9-o-tolyl-9H-carbazole and diphenyl(o-tolyl)amine, indicating that Pd2(dba)3/tBu-XPhos/NaOtBu catalyst high selectively favors 9H-carbazole over diphenylamine as an amination substrate. (Figure presented.).

Recently we had reported the noninnocent behavior of 1,1?-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf) in Fe(CO)3dppf [Ringenberg et al., Inorg. Chem., 2017, 56, 7501]. Moving to the left in the periodic table, HMn(CO)3(dRpf) where dRpf = dppf (1H) and 1,1?-bis(diisopropylphosphino)ferrocene (dippf) (2H) were synthesized. The hydride ligand was removed by protonation with [(Et2O)2H][B(ArF)4] ([B(ArF)4]- = tetrakis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]borate), resulting in the rapid evolution of H2 followed by the formation of an Fe?Mn interaction. The reaction mechanism was determined by in situ IR experiments which show that directly following protonation both [1]+ and [2]+ offer an open manganese coordination site that allows for the formation of an intramolecular Fe?Mn dative bond. This process is significantly faster for [2]+ than for [1]+. The reduction chemistry as studied by cyclic voltammetry (CV) reveals that both complexes change from a distorted octahedral coordination with an Fe?Mn interaction to an open square-pyramidal configuration which is more stable for [1]0 than [2]0. Reoxidation of this square-pyramidal species proceeds more reversibly for 2 versus 1 due to the faster ferrocene ligand reorganization. The electrochemical mechanism was studied by in situ spectroscopic techniques, e.g., IR, UV-vis-NIR (near IR), and EPR spectroelectrochemistry (SEC) as well as by CV simulation. The new complexes described offer an exciting platform for the development of electrocatalysts for the reduction of CO2 to CO, or for proton reduction (2H+ + 2e- ? H2).

A new class of one-component Pd precatalysts bearing biarylphosphine ligands is described. These precatalysts are air- and thermally stable, are easily activated under normal reaction conditions at or below room temperature, and ensure the formation of the highly active monoligated Pd(0) complex necessary for oxidative addition. The use of these precatalysts as a convenient source of LPd(0) in C-N cross-coupling reactions is explored. The reactivity that is demonstrated in this study is unprecedented in palladium chemistry. A series of reactions of different silver thiolates, AgSR (R = Mes (mesityl), Nph (naphthyl), Cy (cyclohexyl)), with bidentate phosphanes was performed yielding a bunch of new compounds, which were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Depending on the nature of the thiolate and the phosphane the solid state structure of the products varies from discrete complexes or clusters to a 3-dimensional coordination network. The mesityl group favors the formation of trinuclear units which are then linked in one, e.g. [Ag3(SMes)3(dpph)2] (5), two, e. g. [Ag 3(SMes)3 (dpppt)2] (4), or three dimensions [Ag3(SMes)3(dppb)2] (3), via the phosphanes. With naphthyl and cyclohexyl groups mostly clusters are formed which are either isolated with some phosphanes in their ligand sphere, e.g. [Ag 12(SCy)12(dpppt)2] (13), or additionally linked by the phosphanes to form 1-dimensional chains, e.g. [Ag12(SCy) 12(dppo)] (17).
