Application of 13991-08-7, An article , which mentions 13991-08-7, molecular formula is C30H24P2. The compound – 1,2-Bis(diphenylphosphino)benzene played an important role in people’s production and life.

A series of phosphine-diphenylphosphenium donor-acceptor cationic complexes have been synthesized and comprehensively characterized (phosphine = diphenylchlorophosphine, triphenylphosphine, trimethylphosphine, and tricyclohexylphosphine). The complexes involve homoatomic P-P coordinate bonds that are susceptible to ligand exchange reactions highlighting a versatile new synthetic method for P-P bond formation. Phosphenium complexes of 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)benzene and 1,2-bis(tert-butylphosphino)benzene undergo unusual rearrangements to give a “segregated” diphosphine-phosphonium cation and a cyclic di(phosphino)phosphonium cation, respectively. The rearrangement products reveal the kinetic stability of the phosphine-phosphenium bonding arrangement.

Novel mono- and didentate ferrocenylphosphines containing complexes, [Mo2(CO)6(dfpp)2(mu-pa)] (dfpp = diferrocenylphenylphosphine) and [Mo2(CO)6(mu-dppf)(mu-pa)], have been isolated and characterized by infrared and electronic spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. For the [Mo2(CO)6(mu-dppf)(mu-pa)] complex a single crystal X-ray structure analysis evidences its double bridge nature and the asymmetry of the bridging ligands due to steric constraints. In the visible region, the new compounds show strong solvatochromic bands and this effect has been evaluated by using the E*MLCT parameter. The redox behaviour of the complexes involves molybdenum and ferrocene-based oxidations and pa-based reductions. The results are compared to the previously characterized analogous complexes based on the related ligands triphenylphosphine and 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane.

Efficient, phosphine-directed ortho C?H borylation of arylphosphine derivatives was achieved using Ru catalysts for the first time. The reaction is applicable to various tertiary arylphosphine and arylphosphinite derivatives to give (o-borylaryl)phosphorus compounds in high yields. This reaction enables easy access to a variety of functionalized phosphine ligands and ambiphilic phosphine boronate compounds, thus realizing a new late-stage modification of phosphorus compounds.

Preparation of new sulfonated triarylphosphanes: Control of the selectivity by structural assistance

A synthetic approach for the selective preparation of tri-, di-, and monosulfonated triarylphosphanes is presented. PPhnAr3-n parent phosphanes (1a-8a) having aryl rings (Ar) activated by simple electron donating groups (CH3, CH3O) were prepared by the standard Grignard method. The activated rings could be sulfonated selectively under mild conditions and with short reaction times (0.8-3 h). Using a very simple workup procedure, the corresponding tri-, di-, and monosulfonated phosphanes (1b-8b) were isolated in outstanding yields (88-99%) and found to contain negligible amount of phosphane oxides (0-4%).
