787618-22-8, (r3-1-tBu-indenyl)2(ji-Cl)2Pd2 (3d) (0.300 g, 0.48 mmol) and RuPhos (0.448 g, 0.98 mmol) were added to a 100 mL Schlenk flask and placed under an atmosphere ofnitrogen. THF (20 mL) was added to the flask via cannula. The resulting solution was stirred for 60 minutes, during which time the reaction mixture became homogeneous. The mixture was opened to air and 90% of the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. Pentane was added to precipitate solid from solution. A red-orange solid was collected via vacuum filtration.
